Angie is a current parent of a Music con Brio student who has been in the program since 2017. She has also known Music con Brio students in her former position as a Science and AVID educator at East High School. She sees the positive impact Music con Brio has on the Eastside community – bringing access to quality music programming to children of all backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses and sharing their talents in community concerts. Angie’s professional background ranges from working as a hydrogeologist to being a teacher and academic advisor. Currently, she holds the role of academic advisor for the Madison College Early College STEM Academy – serving the same students, Music con Brio strives to reach – by providing students in the Madison area access to earn college credit before graduating high school. Angie shares the passion to provide children in our community opportunities to challenge themselves, experience educational rigor, and build the confidence to do what they want to do in life.
